Hi Jay. Welcome to our wonderful world of planDisney.
As Winnie the Pooh's friend Tigger would say, "Woo-hoo-hoo-hoo!" You will be "bouncing" from Animal Kingdom to EPCOT in one unforgettable day! I love the park-hopping adventure you have planned. EPCOT is home to "Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind" and my favorite restaurant in Walt Disney World Resort,
Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria. Meanwhile, Animal Kingdom features the epic world of
Pandora — The World of Avatar! Now, we need to help you get from point A to point B as quickly and conveniently as possible in "T-I-double-guh-ER-iffic fashion! Since you will be driving your own car to Animal Kingdom, I recommend driving directly to EPCOT afterward. The drive is short and easy to navigate, and according to Walt Disney World Resort's
parking guidelines, you only need to "pay one fee for a parking pass that is valid all day at all four theme parks." Just present your receipt at your second theme park. I'm all about getting the most value out of park days, and this option will save you valuable time and convenience.
If you prefer to take a Disney bus instead, I suggest parking at the theme park where you'll end your night. This will help you avoid the issue of Animal Kingdom closing at 6 PM, as buses generally stop running from the theme parks one hour after closing. In this case, you would drive to EPCOT, take a bus to Animal Kingdom, and then return to EPCOT via bus after your visit, where your car will be parked.
Alternatively, if you want to leave your car at Animal Kingdom and stay at EPCOT until closing, keep in mind that you will likely need to pay for a ride-share or
Minnie Van service to get back to your vehicle.
I hope this information helps you decide what works best for you. Never hesitate to reach out to us at planDisney because we are all about your having "fun, fun, fun, FUN!"
