We have park hopper tickets for WDW on January 24 and 25. When can we secure Lightning Lane passes?

Welcome to planDisney, Richard! Are you getting so excited about your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World? Since your arrival date is coming up quickly, let's get right down to chatting about Lightning Lanes and when you'll be able to book them.

Your Lightning Lane booking window depends on where you'll be staying when you're at Walt Disney World. If you're a guest of a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you will be able to make your Lightning Lane return time selections 7 days before your check-in date. For you, that would be January 17th at 7:00 AM Eastern Time. If you are staying offsite, you can make your Lightning Lane selections beginning 3 days before your arrival, which would be on January 21st at 7:00 AM for you.

When it's time to make your reservations, tap on the purchase link from the main screen of the My Disney Experience app. You can select the attractions you want to ride and you'll be presented with the earliest return times available and you can make any adjustments you want. I recommend taking the return times assigned to you and then coming back to make changes if you want to. You can modify your return times all the way up until when you're scheduled to use them! You can always hold three Lightning Lane Single Pass return times at any given time, so be sure to book your next one as soon as you use one so you can stack up as many attractions as possible in your day.

I hope this answers your question, Richard, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
