We have Park Hopper tickets for one day, but want to add Blizzard Beach. Is it possible to add it to our existing tickets or do we just buy separate tickets? Does it matter if we want to go on a non-adjacent day?

    Hi Daryl,

Are you getting so excited for your Walt Disney World Resort adventure? It will be here in just a few short weeks! If you don't already have a countdown going, here are some ideas for how my fellow planDisney panelists and I like to count down to our own magical vacations.

I'd encourage you to check the costs with your exact tickets and dates, but it sounds to me like your best option would be to upgrade the 1-Day Park Hopper tickets you already have to 1-Day Park Hopper Plus Option tickets. This will not only allow you to enjoy the theme parks for one full day but will also allow you to enjoy one visit to Blizzard Beach Water Park and extend your ticket expiration date by one day so that you can enjoy the water park on an adjacent day. There is SO MUCH to see and do in the theme parks, and there's just no way you can do them justice by trying to squeeze multiple theme parks and Blizzard Beach Water Park into one day. The only reason I'd encourage you to purchase a separate ticket to Blizzard Beach Water Park would be because you would like to have a day in between your theme park and water park days to relax, sleep in a bit, and enjoy the amenities at your Disney Resort hotel. Since your 1-Day Park Hopper Plus Option ticket would expire after two days, purchasing a separate Blizzard Beach Water Park ticket would allow you to spread your visits out a bit more.

Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Daryl, and I hope this was helpful. However you decide to build your itinerary, I hope your vacation is truly magical!
