We have park hopper tickets. If we go to a waterpark in the morning, will we be able to enter Magic Kingdom in the evening without a park reservation? Or do we need to book a Magic Kingdom reservation for our water park day?

Hi there, Juliet! Welcome back to planDisney! We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and ask another wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

As the year continues, it is so exciting to the return of more and more beloved attractions and offerings to Walt Disney World Resort! Among the most exciting reopenings is Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Water! Beginning March 7th, 2021, Guests will be able to return to the ski resort turned water wonderland and experience all of their favorite attractions.

So, now is the perfect time to plan a trip around visiting this water park! My family and I love planning days in the exact way you described. There’s something so fun about getting up and playing in the water before heading over for some evening events in the theme parks!

After the re-opening of Walt Disney World Resort, Guests are now required to make theme park reservations through the Disney Park Pass system prior to their visit. This allows for the management of attendance and promotes physical distancing while in the parks. Once you have purchased your theme park tickets, you will be able to make your theme park reservations for each day you intend on visiting the parks. Guests are also now able to use the Park Hopper option once more after 2:00 pm until the official theme park closure time. Guests using this perk must make a reservation for their first theme park experience and enter this theme park in order to Park Hop later in the day.

Since the water parks are not included in the Disney Park Pass system, you are going to want to make a reservation for the Magic Kingdom on the day you intend on visiting both. This will allow you to enter once you have completed your time in the water park!

Best of luck continuing to plan for your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you!
