We have park hopper tickets and want to eat dinner in a restaurant that’s in the second park of our day. I believe I can only make a park entry reservation for one park a day. Do the restaurants require a park reservation for the park they are in?

    Hi Henry! Welcome to planDisney!

You're certainly in for some fun when you add the Park Hopper Option on to your Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park Tickets! My family and I always "park hop" and I would never have it any other way! We love spending the morning visiting one Park, heading back to our Disney Resorts Collection hotel in the heat of the afternoon for a dip in the pool, and then hitting the ground running again just in time for dinner and fireworks.

Your plans for spending the morning at one Theme Park and dinnertime at another sound like they'd fit right in with an itinerary that I would make so I've got just the answer for you! You're correct that all Walt Disney World Resort Guests currently only need to make a Theme Park Reservation for the first Park they will visit each day.  While this is certainly subject to change, as of right now no Theme Park Reservations are needed for other Theme Parks you plan to "hop" to after 2 p.m. or for the Water Parks like Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park

While dinner reservations do not guarantee you entry into your second Park of the day, I've never personally had an issue with Parks being full during Park Hopping hours.  Another reason I really enjoy having the Park Hopper Option is that you can grab those last-minute, hard-to-get dining reservations and head to whichever Park they are in without issue!

Happy Hopping! Have a magical vacation!
