I have a park hopper ticket. I am going to end at Epcot and starting at Hollywood Studios. Can I park at Epcot and use Disney transportation to start at Hollywood Studios so my car is at Epcot at the end of the night?

Hiya, Amanda! Only one more sleep until Walt Disney World! There is no better feeling... Well, until you scan in at the theme parks and know all the planning, packing and travel are done, and there is nothing left to do but immerse in the magic! Let's go!

A day at EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios sounds practically perfect in every way. I checked the calendar for January 3, and both theme parks are open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Hakuna Matata! This makes parking at EPCOT and immediately heading over to the bright lights of Hollywood a breeze.

The simple answer to your question is "yes." You can park at EPCOT so your car is closer when your feet are tired after logging all those steps during the day.

The two parks are so close, and there are several transportation options to whisk you between your destinations quickly.

    • You can take the walking path connecting to Disney's BoardWalk. It is a quick 15-minute walk from park to park.
    • You can take a FriendShip Boat, which connects Hollywood Studios and EPCOT through a lovely waterway.
    • You can spring aboard the Disney Skyliner and fly like Tarzan. You'll need to exit at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and switch lines. It's an easy transfer. I think the total trip usually takes about 25 - 30 minutes. It may take a little longer than walking, but the Skyliner is an attraction itself.

With these options, you will depart for Hollywood Studios and arrive back at EPCOT's International Gateway, just outside the World Showcase, between France and the United Kingdom.

Amanda, I hope this helps and you are all set for a great, big beautiful tomorrow! Please let us know if we can help with any other questions. We're happy to see you at planDisney!

    Happy Travels!
