    We had the park hopper plus ticket package with our resort stay, but had to be downgraded to the base ticket. Should we have received a refund?

    Thanks for your question!

    Rather than just apply refunds, Disney has extended a few options for guests who have Park Hopper tickets, so that they can choose the option that best suits their needs. These choices include;

    • Extend your Ticket: All tickets have been extended to be valid through to September 26, 2021. This way you can use the tickets whenever you wish, and of course if Disney returns to allowing Park Hopping, you can do just that. This is really for people who may choose to return at a later date. If this is the right choice for you, you do not have to do anything.
    • Modify your Ticket: Some tickets and vacation packages can be modified. You would have to contact either your Disney Vacation Planner, or contact the Disney Reservation Center at 407-934-7639.
    • Cancel your Ticket: You can cancel your tickets, or your vacation package, by contacting either your Disney Vacation Planner, or calling the Disney Reservation Center at 407-566-4985.
    My guess is that your best bet would be the second option, to modify your ticket. If you contact them, they should be able to square things away for you. Also, you might consider keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for updates to Disney park operations. It is the most reliable news source out there, and when Park Hopping returns, I am sure that they will bring that news to us all!
