Hi Todd!
Welcome to planDisney!
The
Park Hopper Plus ticket is the ultimate way to experience everything Disney World has to offer, so let’s make sure you can make the most of it!
I’m happy to let you know that
going to the water park will not be counted as a theme park visit with this ticket type. As you use your Park Hopper Plus ticket, your theme park days and extra experiences (which include going to the water park!) will be counted separately. I always look at it as two separate baskets: one with my theme park days and one with my extra experiences.
When you
purchase your ticket, you'll notice that the ticket details will give you a date range. And that date range is currently longer than the number of park days you chose. You just need to make sure that you use your theme park tickets and your extra experiences before that date range ends.
As far as when to use your theme park days and extra experiences, that’s totally up to you! You can use an extra experience on the same day that you go to a theme park or on a different day. If it were up to me, I’d be like you and want to enjoy the water park on a day that I didn’t visit the theme park!
You can also use more than one extra experience in one day if you’d like. So, if you want to play a round of
mini golf, then head over to the
water park, you can do that (subject to availability)!
Just make sure you look at the ticket details for all the ins and outs of which extra experiences are offered and any limitations.
I hope that all makes sense! If you have any other questions, let us know. We’re always happy to help!
