Hello there, Robert! Welcome to planDisney! We are so excited that you’ve taken the time to reach out and allow us to help you plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
The
holidays are a wonderfully magical time at Walt Disney World Resort! Did you know that the
Magic Kingdom undergoes an overnight transformation after the last Guests leave on October 31st? Once Halloween has officially come to an end, Cast Members spring into action and bring the magic of the holidays to the Magic Kingdom through lights, decorations, and music!
Currently, Guests are required to have a theme park reservation in order to gain entry into the park of their choice. Reservations can be made through the
Disney Park Pass system once you have connected your theme park tickets to your
My Disney Experience account. Guests are also able to check theme park reservation availability through a calendar that is linked to the Disney Park Pass system.
At the beginning of 2021, the
Park Hopper option made a triumphant return to Walt Disney World Resort! Now, Guests can visit more than one theme park a day with annual passes and theme park tickets with the Park Hopper option! To take advantage of this perk, you will need to make reservations at the first theme park you intend on visiting and then enter that theme park. Once you have done this, you will be able to visit the next park of your choosing after 2:00 pm until the end of the park’s scheduled hours. Park Hopping is subject to capacity limits so, if the park you plan on visiting is full, you will not be able to enter. While that is not particularly common, it does seem as though you will be visiting during Thanksgiving week so it is possible that
Epcot will reach capacity.
I would recommend arriving as soon as Park Hopper hours begin but also having a plan in case Epcot is at capacity. If this is the case, you will be able to modify your dining reservation from the
My Disney Experience app on your smartphone and change it to a different day without any repercussions.
I hope you have a phenomenal visit to Walt Disney World Resort this November! Be sure to let us know if we can assist you with planning any other parts of your stay!
