Hi Scott, and welcome to planDisney! I’ve had to move vacations many times over the years and, fortunately, Disney makes it easy to adjust. So let’s chat about the options for your park hopper ticket.
If your plans change,
most standard theme park tickets can be used on a future visit as long as they’re unused. You may be able to change the date right from the
My Disney Experience app by going to ☰ in the lower right corner and then My Tickets & Passes. Swipe until you see your ticket and press Change Ticket. A calendar will pop up where you can choose a new date. If the date is more expensive than your current ticket, you’ll need to pay the difference in price.
If your next Disney World trip isn’t until after your ticket expires, Hakuna Matata! You can still apply the cost of your ticket towards the purchase of a new one. Keep in mind that tickets purchased as part of a Disney World Travel Company room and ticket package work a little differently and generally need to be used by the check-out date.
Don’t hesitate to call the
Tickets and Hotel Reservations phone number if you have any questions about using your ticket on a future trip. A Cast Member would be happy to get you all set up for your next visit.
If you do end up at Disney World on Monday, I definitely recommend stopping by the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival! I was there last weekend, and the park is absolutely breathtaking with all of the
colorful plants and Disney character topiaries. The horticulture Cast Members do such an incredible job with the displays! There’s also the
Garden Rocks Concert Series in the evening, which is included with regular park admission. And if you’d like to preview the offerings at the
Outdoor Kitchens, check out
Disney Parks Blog’s festival foodie guide. I love to map out my snacking strategy before I get there!
I’m wishing you a magical visit to Disney World, whether it’s on Monday or sometime in the future! And if you have any other questions, you’re always welcome back at planDisney.
