Hi, can I park hop to magic kingdom from Epcot on a weekend after 2pm? There’s so much conflicting information on this subject. Thank you.

    Hi Michael!

Welcome to planDisney, where we love helping Guests like you make the most of their Disney vacation! I am happy to help answer your question about park hopping between Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT and clear up any confusion you may be experiencing.

Park hopping is a great way to maximize your day in the Disney Theme Parks. You can start your morning enjoying your favorite attractions and experiences at one park and then move to the next one in the afternoon for lunch. I have managed to experience some of my favorite attractions in three of the four theme parks in one day! It was exhausting and yet still magical. If you have a theme park ticket with the park hopper option, you can hop to Magic Kingdom from EPCOT any time during the day, subject to park capacity limitations.

If you are an Annual Passholder, you will need a theme park reservation for the park where you wish to start your day. Once you have tapped into the first park, you can hop to Magic Kingdom Park any time. If you are visiting on a “good to go” day, you can visit any of the theme parks without a park reservation. Annual Passholders may also visit any theme park after 2:00 PM without a park reservation, except for Magic Kingdom Park on Saturdays and Sundays.

I hope this information helps clarify park hopping at Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any more questions, please stop back by.
