Greetings, fellow Floridian, Lora!
Don’t you love living so close to the Mouse? We moved to
Florida a little over two yEARs ago, and we have had more family friends visit us in that time than in the ten yEARs we lived in Boston! Everyone wants to come to the sun and the ‘World!
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Guests receive
complimentary transportation across the Resort. This includes the bus, water taxis, Monorail, and the brand-new
Disney Skyliner. I love that there are a variety of options to get you across the Resort. If you are driving to your meal at
Rainforest Café, the easiest option is to park at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. The restaurant is right outside the Main Entrance to the Park and easily accessible from the parking lot. If you are an
Annual Passholder (Florida residents get great discounts!), you will get complimentary standard Theme Park parking.
Now, if you are not an Annual Passholder and would like complimentary parking, you have two options, both of which involve Disney Springs! There is a second
Rainforest Café at Disney Springs, and all visitors to Disney Springs get free parking, so I would eat there! Or, you can park at
Disney Springs and use the complimentary bus transportation to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. The buses run with less frequency than other locations, so be prepared for a reasonably long commute (plan on at least an hour, more likely an hour and a half of commute time before your reservation). If you’d prefer not to wait, you can take a car service (including
Minnie Vans via Lyft or Uber) from Disney Springs.
Lora, if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to come back.
