Hi there Anna! I am so happy to hear you are a 1900 Park Fare fan. It is one of my absolute favorite character meals at Walt Disney World Resort, both meals are delicious, and the characters are wonderful (Mary Poppins at breakfast and Lady Tremaine at dinner are the best!) Also, you can't go wrong with a bowl of strawberry soup!
While we have not received any news regarding the re-opening of
1900 Park Fare, I do have some magical alternatives for a character meal that is not only memorable but serves delicious food. First, check out
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, which is located in the Norway Pavilion at Disney's EPCOT Park. Both meals are fantastic (my family and I tried dinner here on our last visit), and we can't stop raving about the dessert and the variety of yummy options served in this family-style meal. Plus, the Princesses are amazing! Check out
Garden Grill Restaurant, also at EPCOT, in the Land Pavilion. What I love about this restaurant is that a majority of the produce grown in the Living With The Land attraction is served here! This restaurant also slowly spins in a complete circle, giving you views of the attraction, and you can't pass up meeting Mickey Mouse in his farmer outfit, he is the best! (The strawberry shortcake is also delicious!). Finally, if you wish to have a character meal at a resort, look no further than
Minnie's Beach Bash Breakfast at Cape May Cafe, located at Disney's Beach Club Resort. You'll meet Minnie Mouse and friends in their fun beachwear, and you can also find Mickey AND Minnie waffles here! The buffet selection is great, (including an omelet station, and the salted caramel buns were amazing) and it is a perfect way to begin a park day.
Anna, to keep up with the latest information on restaurant re-openings, make sure to follow planDisney on Instagram (

Magic Awaits!
