Margaret,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
Yes, each of the Walt Disney World theme parks have their own
parking lots. To get from your car to the entrance of the
Magic Kingdom, you can either walk or take the shuttle tram to the Transportation & Ticket Center. From there you can either ride the
monorail or sail on a ferry boat to the front of the park. I recommend the monorail, as the views are amazing, and it is such an iconic part of the Walt Disney World experience. By the way, if you are a Disney Resort Hotel guest, you can get complimentary parking at the theme parks.
BONUS TIP #1At all the other parks there is no way station like the Transportation & Ticket Center between the parking area and the entrance to the park.
BONUS TIP #2Preferred parking is available, getting you closer to the front of the parking area and shortening your time from car to fun.
BONUS TIP #3If you park your car at one theme park, but later that day decide to move to another park, you do not have to pay for parking again. The payment you made at the first park will cover any other theme park parking that same day.
BONUS TIP #4
Make sure you have the
My Disney Experience App installed on your phone. When you park at the Disney theme parks the new
Car Locator feature will remember where you parked, helping you quickly find your car so you can head off to your next adventure!
