I we get to the park and decide to add the park hopper option to one of our days can we do that while we are at the park? Or do we need to do that in advance?

Hi Meaghan and welcome to planDisney! In just a few weeks, you will be enjoying a magical vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks for stopping in with your question.

You can absolutely add the Park Hopper Option to your tickets after you arrive for your vacation. Just head to any ticket window at any of the theme parks to talk to a Cast Member. All you have to do is pay the difference and you will be good to go!

There are a few things you should know about the Park Hopper Option before your visit. You can start hopping to the next park of your choice, beginning at 2 p.m., after you have visited your first reserved theme park of the day. You can always check your My Disney Experience app while at the parks, to see if that next park is at capacity. Once you see it is free and clear, you can hop to your heart’s content.

Meaghan, if you haven’t done so already, you will need to make a Disney Park Pass Reservation for each person in your travel party, via your My Disney Experience account. You can even do it on your My Disney Experience app on your mobile phone.

It’s always a good idea to take a look at the Know Before You Go section of the Walt Disney World Resort website before your visit. The section will tell you about the health and safety measures in place right now, all over the Walt Disney World Resort.

I hope this information is helpful to you. For more planning tips, you can always view our Panel Extras. We are on Instagram, too, so you can also follow right along with the planDisney team as we explore the parks!

    Have a magical visit!
