Hi Kristin,
Thanks for bringing your question to us here at planDisney! I know you are counting the days until your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation, so I'm sorry your plans have changed. Let's see if I can offer some tips for you to make your new schedule work!
The short answer is yes, there is a possibility that
Theme Park Availability might change from day to day. So, keep checking the availability calendar and follow
these simple steps to modify your reservation if the date you are hoping for becomes available. Now, if you have a
1 Park Per Day ticket, you must modify your ticket date to change your park reservation. If you have a multi-day ticket, since the day you wish to visit now is earlier than you originally planned, please be sure that your ticket start date includes the earlier date. If you need to modify your ticket, you can do so via your
My Disney Experience by selecting My Plans. Then, under My Plans, Reservations and Tickets, select Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker, and then Modify Ticket and follow the prompts.
One tip for you, Kristin, is to purchase a
Park Hopper ticket. By doing so, you will have the opportunity to visit a park with reservation availability for the day you wish to visit. After entering that first park, you will be able to visit the park you were hoping to visit starting at 2:00 p.m. However, park capacity may be limited, so check your
My Disney Experience app to confirm that park hopping to your desired park is available.
Kristin, beginning January 9, 2024, theme park reservations will no longer be required for date-based tickets. So, if you find that you need to modify your visit to a date beyond that time and you have a date-based ticket, you will be able to enter the park of your choice (subject to change).
I'm sending you lots of pixie dust, Kristin, and hoping that the calendar opens up! If you have other questions, please let us know.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
