What park is closest to Chef Mickey's?

Welcome aboard, Andrea! Chef Mickey's is one of the most popular Character Dining restaurants at Walt Disney World! And it's no wonder! Guests get to dine with Mickey and his friends Minnie, Pluto, Donald, and Goofy! My kids, of course, would eat Mickey waffles all day and night if they could, but my husband and I always find great dishes too!

One of the best things about dining at Chef Mickey's if you're not a guest at the Contemporary Resort, where the restaurant is located, is that it is right next to Magic Kingdom. Did you know that the monorail actually runs right through the Contemporary Resort? Look up from Chef Mickey's and you can see it go by! Just hop on that for a trip around to Magic Kingdom, but you'll have to ride around the opposite direction until you arrive a few stops later at Magic Kingdom. Even with a few stops, it's a lot of fun, and one of my kids' favorite parts about visiting Walt Disney World! If you want a faster trip to Magic Kingdom, simply walk along the short pathway outside right to the front gates of the place where dreams come true! It will take about five to ten minutes depending on how fast you walk, but it's not far at all!

Now, if you're looking to visit Epcot before or after your meal with Mickey, it's not too far to get there either by monorail. You'll just take the monorail to the Ticketing and Transportation Center, where you hop off and get on the Epcot monorail. Of course, Disney has bus transportation from the Contemporary Resort going to Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom too.

Have fun planning your vacation, Andrea!
