Hi there, Tanya!
The
holidays are my favorite time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort! I love being surrounded by the sights, sounds, and smells of the season, whether I'm visiting the theme parks, Resort hotels, or Disney Springs! It's everywhere, which makes a vacation during this time of the yEAR extra magical.
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is scheduled for the night of December 1, Tanya. The party festivities kick off at 7:00 p.m. and come to a close at midnight. The park will close for Guests without tickets to this special event at 6:00 p.m. This allows the Cast Members time to give out bands to those staying for the evening. The Guests not staying for the party have time to make their way down Main Street, U.S.A. for one last picture in front of Cinderella Castle, a little shopping for souvenirs at the Emporium, or stopping for a sweet treat at the Main Street Confectionary. Once the clock strikes 7:00 p.m. only Guests with a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party band will be allowed in
Magic Kingdom. If you decide not to attend the party, this may be the perfect time to tour the monorail resorts to see the holiday decor or hop on a bus to
Disney Springs. The
Christmas Tree Trail at Disney Springs includes 23 trees, all with their own unique theming! You can purchase a yummy holiday treat along the way as you browse and take photos. It's a fun, festive way to end your magical day.
Thank you for your question, Tanya! Please keep us posted if you think of more. We'd love to help again.
