Where could I park for 7:45 check-in for Keys to Kingdom Tour at 8am when MK park doesn't open until 9am (for my dates in Sept)?

Hey there, Hi there, Ho there! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney, Kelley! Thanks for taking the time to send us your question.

I'm glad you booked Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour! It's a great way to learn about the unique history of Magic Kingdom Park, and you'll also be able to get a sneak peek of the behind-the-scenes Utilidor system. The tour lasts approximately five hours, so wear comfy shoes and bring water. I checked my watch at the end, and I had logged over three miles!

The Magic Kingdom parking lot is located at the Ticket and Transportation Center and will be open about one hour before the park does. Magic Kingdom Park actually opens at 8:30 AM that day for Resort Guests, so the parking lot will open around 7:30 AM. Typically, you can arrive as early as 7:15 AM; just show the attendants your tour confirmation number, and they will let you in a few minutes ahead of time. Once you park, ask a Cast Member whether you should take the ferry or the Monorail to Magic Kingdom, as both should be operating at that hour.

Nothing is worse after a long day than walking in circles trying to remember where you parked! Did you know that a new Car Locator feature was recently added to the My Disney Experience app? After parking your vehicle, open the app and tap the car locator card on your home screen...it is super helpful!

I hope you have a magical time, Kelley! See ya real soon.
