What park celebrates New Year's Eve?

    Welcome to planDisney, Joe!

Really all theme parks celebrate New Year's Eve in one way or another. But if you are looking for a traditional experience complete with cocktails and fireworks to ring in the New Year, then I suggest that you head to EPCOT

I will warn you though, EPCOT does get pretty crowded on this date so be sure to arrive early to stake out the perfect viewing location for Harmonious and don't forget to secure your Disney Park Pass system reservation.

Now, if you are a little flexible celebrating outside of the theme parks then you can not go wrong with a reservation at the California Grill. You will be treated to a fabulous 50th anniversary pre-fixe meal while also viewing the brand-new Disney Enchantment from the top floor of Disney's Contemporary Resort.

Disney's Hollywood Studios is also staying up late, with a closing time of midnight allowing you to stay and play the night away with Woody and the Gang in Toy Story Land.

In years past, there have been some special events on the night of the 31st, but events for this year have not been announced. If any events are announced you can be sure to hEAR about them on the Disney Parks Blog

Joe, no matter where you celebrate the holiday, you will be surrounded by loved ones. And really there is no better way to ring in a new year.

    See you real soon!
