Have park capacity restrictions changed recently? When we first booked, capacity was limited to approximately 35% and masks were fully required. I know the reservation process is still in place, but wondering how full the parks will be.

    Welcome to planDisney, Alexandra!

I’m delighted you stopped by with your question for us.

How exciting that you’ll soon be arriving at Walt Disney World Resort! Like you, I have been keeping up with the capacity of the parks since the reopening of The Most Magical Place on Earth, and I have experienced multiple trips to the magic since.

While we don’t know the official numbers, I have noticed more Guests visiting during every trip because more and more people have started feeling comfortable traveling once again.

Rest assured, Disney is putting the health and safety of Guests and Cast Members above all else, and Guest capacity is still operating at a reduced number. Walt Disney World Resort Cast Members have been working closely with the guidance of local, state, and federal health officials to make the reopening intentional. In addition, they are still monitoring park attendance through the Disney Park Pass reservation system

The face mask policy has been updated, and face masks are optional for fully vaccinated Guests; however, there are still places such as Disney Transportation where face masks are required.

I hope this helps as you prepare to experience the magic during your upcoming trip, Alexandra!

    Have an enchanting time.
