Hi Crystal!
Thanks for bringing this question to planDisney!
Of course, crowds and offerings at the theme parks will always vary, so while I can’t specifically say which theme park is best to visit on Sundays, I’m happy to help provide some guidance!
I also want to make a quick disclaimer that I’m a firm believer in choosing the park based on your priorities and likes. If there’s a certain park you have your heart set on, that would be my top choice for you! From there, you can jump into strategizing how to get the most out of your day, despite what the crowds may look like.
Now, if I personally had to make this decision, I’d choose to either visit
Magic Kingdom or
Animal Kingdom on a Sunday. Historically, there tend to be higher crowds at
Epcot and
Hollywood Studios on Sundays compared to the other two parks.
Of course, there’s always a higher chance of crowds on the weekend in general. So even at the parks that tend to have fewer crowds, it may be beneficial to purchase
Lightning Lanes for your visit if enjoying attractions is a high priority for you.
If you’re hoping for a more laid-back day that’s not attraction-heavy, I recommend making an advanced
dining reservation at your favorite restaurant, so you can really take time to enjoy it. Plus, make sure to check out all of the entertainment around the park. There are often also some attractions that generally have shorter wait times or don’t have Lightning Lane access, which could be perfect to add in if you have time.
I hope that helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to come back and visit us!
