In the Paris, what language is used? We only speak English. Also, I see if I pay cash for staying at some of the hotels in Disneyland Paris, it comes with park passess. Do you get park passes as well if you use DVC points?

    Bonjour, Krista!

Welcome home, and welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for bringing your question to us today. This is the perfect question for me, combining two of my favourite things: Disney Vacation Club and Disneyland Paris!

Travelling all the way to France to visit Disneyland Paris is a big adventure, so I completely understand any concerns about the potential language barrier. The good news is that you will have no problem speaking only English. Signage is in both English and French, and the brilliant Cast Members speak multiple languages, including English. I’m an English-only speaker myself, and after countless visits to the Parisian resort, I’ve never had an issue. That said, I always like to use a few French words where I can, "bonjour," "au revoir," and lots of “merci!" to show my appreciation to the Cast Members.

Now, let’s talk about Disney Hotel options. The hotel+ticket packages offer fantastic value, with park entrance included on all days of your stay, including your check-in and check-out days. Eligible Disney Vacation Club Members can now use Vacation Points to stay at all hotels at Disneyland Paris by converting them into Reservation Points. Just keep in mind that bookings made with Reservation Points are room only and do not include Disney Park tickets. The points charts can be found here.

If you're looking for the best deal, the Disneyland Paris website has a great price comparison tool. Simply enter your party details, select a hotel, and you’ll see the cost of your vacation package for different check-in dates. We’ve often found that adjusting our check-in date by just a day or two can lead to big savings, extra money I always seem to accidentally reinvest in Disneyland Paris-exclusive merchandise! I just can’t help myself!

Krista, here’s a quick tip I like to let those who may be more familiar with the U.S. Disney Dining reservation widows know: dining reservations at Disneyland Paris can be made as soon as you receive your booking confirmation for a Disney Hotel stay. The Disneyland Paris app makes it really easy to secure dining reservations, so I recommend downloading it as soon as you book.

I hope this helps, Krista! If you have any more questions whilst you are planning your European adventure, please reach out to me, I would love to help.

    Have a magical day!

    Matt
