Hello parents, Our 1st visit to WDW is Christmastime 2014. I know. CROWDS! LOL! We are small eaters. We will not go with the DDP. Question is: 1.Can we still make ADRs without being on the plan? 2. Are ADRs necessary for Counter-service places?

Hi, Adle! Congratulations on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World! May it be the first of many! Yes, you can definitely still make Advance Dining Reservations! Getting reservations for your meals is not impacted by whether or not you have a Disney Dining Plan.  Any Guest, on-site or off-site, can make reservations at any of the Theme Park or Resort dining locations.  The Dining Plans only change how Guests pay for the meals.  Not only do you not need reservations for Quick-Service restaurants, they aren't available.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
