When my parents visited years ago there are an area that had Mickey's house and Minnie's house. There are a clothes line in the yard that my dad loved. Is that no longer in Magic Kingdom or anywhere?

    Hi Jessica!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I know exactly what area you are talking about because I remember vividly from my childhood! It was known as Mickey's Toontown Fair and it is sadly no longer at Magic Kingdom.

When the New Fantasyland area was added to Magic Kingdom, the expansion occurred where Mickey's Toontown Fair previously was. While you are unable to visit Mickey and Minnie's homes on the east coast, if you ever find yourself on the west coast you can still visit them and all their friends in Mickey's Toontown at Disneyland Park. While it may not be exactly as your dad remembers it, there is so many new exciting things for him to experience that I'm sure he would absolutely adore. You can now go under the sea with The Little Mermaid inside her and Eric's castle, dine with the Beast at his home or go off to work with a dwarf on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. As Walt Disney himself said the "parks will never be completed", because he wanted them to constantly evolve and grow! I hope you are able to experience some of the new magic during your next visit.
