My Parents are treating my brothers family of 5 and my family of 4 another trip to Disneyland. What is something special our families can plan while we are at DL as a thank you for my Parents? We are staying at a DL resort Hotel for 5 days in June.

    Hiya Erin,

What an amazingly generous gift from your parents, and a generous thought to show your appreciation to them as well! I couldn't think of a better place to spend time with family than at The Happiest Place on Earth.

Some special things to do for your families would be to book a guided tour (see Guest Relations to do this), make reservations for a Character Dining Experience (i.e. Goofy's Kitchen, Storyteller's Cafe, or Ariel's Grotto in Disney California Adventure Park) or reserve Fantasmic! Premium Viewing with Dessert Seating in Disneyland. To make all your Disney Dining reservations call 714-781-DINE to ensure your party has a table.

Another thought is to give your parents something just for them, like a spa treatment at the Mandara Spa inside Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, or reserve them a spot for a multiple course meal at the beautiful Wine Country Trattoria restaurant in Disney California Adventure Park.

One thing my family does for special occasions like this is to ask City Hall on Main Street U.S.A. in Disneyland Park and/or the Concierge Desk at your Disneyland Resort Hotel. The Cast Members always have great ideas and sometimes even sprinkle in some Disney Magic.

I hope these ideas helped and that you and your family have a wonderful time! May the force be with you in this time of choices.
