My parents and I are traveling with my 13 year old nephew to Disney World in Febuary. Do we need a permission slip signed by his parents? Does he need to have a picture Id with his birthdate in order to get on the plane? Thanks.

Hi Deborah, What a wonderful treat for your nephew! It can not hurt to have a notarized note from his parents stating the following: Who he is traveling with and his relationship to them Specific dates and location of travel His parents full name, address and contact numbers While this is more important if you are leaving the country, it is still good to have and I would not produce it unless asked. You can also check with your airline to see if they have any requirements. Since your nephew is only 13, he does not require photo id to get through security. Wishing you a magical vacation! Beth
