2 parents and teenager want to take Disney Cruise in late December 2024 or early January 2025 in Caribbean. What are the options?

    Hi Michael,

Thanks for setting your compass to planDisney and bringing your exciting question to us! We love to hear from families planning a Disney Cruise Line adventure!

You will find so much to enjoy aboard Disney Cruise Line. Families can enjoy entertaining dinners, broadway-style shows, and all sorts of fun activities together. And if you would like a change of pace, your teen can enjoy the teen-exclusive space, Vibe, while the adults take advantage of adult-exclusive events like Beverage Tasting Seminars or Senses Spa

I assume you plan to embark on a cruise in Florida, so you have two departure port options: Fort Lauderdale or Port Canaveral. I did a quick search for your dates and those two ports and see that you have plenty of fabulous cruise itineraries from which to choose! I suggest you explore these options and base your decision on a few possibilities:

    • If you would like to cruise on Disney Treasure or Disney Wish, the two newest ships in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, you will want to cruise from Port Canaveral.
    • You have the option of spending a day in pixie-dusted paradise at Disney Castaway Cay or the newest port of call, Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, or go big and select a cruise that visits both!
    • If you are interested in a holiday-themed Very Merrytime Cruise, you have several options in December.
    • If you would like a cruise of heroic proportions, consider the Marvel Day at Sea cruise, featuring all your favorite Marvel Characters and epic activities and entertainment.
    • Finally, your desired months offer everything between a 3-Night to 7-Night cruise, so consider how long you would like to enjoy this amazing vacation.
Michael, I think the moral of the story is that you have loads of options and none of them would be the wrong choice! We would love to answer other questions you may have as you make your plans, so sail by again any time!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Shannon
