Hi. My parents are taking my whole family (three kids, 11, 6, almost 4), my adult siblings and us (husband and I) on the Fantasy. I want to make sure my parents have a good time as they are older and only can take so much kids stuff? Any ideas?

Welcome aboard, Janelle! We've cruised three times with extended family, and they've been a lot of fun for everyone from three to 85!

Besides all of the fun family activities and kids activities, there are plenty of adult-oriented activities as well as adult exclusive spaces onboard the ship. First of all, there is a whole pool and deck area reserved exclusively for adults. Quiet Cove Pool, Cove Cafe and the deck around it are for guests 18 and over. It's a wonderful place to grab a specialty drink, take a dip in the pool, or enjoy reading a book while you lounge overlooking the ocean.

Check out your Personal Navigator each day as well. You'll see an entire line on the schedule devoted to Adult activities. Some of our favorites are the beverage tastings, Art of the Theme Show Tour, trivia in O'Gills Pub, and fun nighttime activities in the Europa Nighttime District. The Art of the Theme Show Tour is something we love, as we get a tour of the ship with special features of it's design and theme pointed out along the way, showing that Disney really tells a story with the design of one area to the next. The Anyone Can Cook demonstrations for adults are fabulous. You'll get to watch as one of the head chefs prepares the food and walks you through how to do it at home. Plus, sampling the creation is the best part!

I'd highly suggest you book a dinner and brunch in Palo. Brunch is especially nice for you and your parents, as you don't have to miss dinner with the kids to enjoy it. Palo is for adults only, and offers a magnificent setting with delightful food and amazing personalized service. Make reservations before you sail though, as it is very popular.

Check out this video about the Magic in the Details of sailing with Disney, and how something for everyone is always included.

    Happy planning!
