    Hi Parents. We'll be staying at the Wilderness Lodge during our upcoming vacation. Do you suggest that I request (or avoid) any particular room views?

    Hi Jonas,

    I have stayed at the Wilderness Lodge twice and had great experiences both times.  I love the feel of not being in Florida when my family visits.  The inside of the front lobby is spectacular, and the main pool actually orginates from the lobby.

    There are some rooms that open onto the main pool which may be slightly noiser.  However, my parents stayed over that way, and they do not have a problem.

    This resort offers other activities such as biking and water activities.  You can head over to the Campsites for adventures as well.  Another cool activity is to raise the flag each morning-ask the front desk for details. 

    My family also went on a Hidden Mickey Scavenger Hunt which was a nice way to spend a rainy evening.

    Enjoy the Wilderness and stop in at Whispering Canyon's for dinner!
