My parents and I are staying in a 2-bedroom villa at DAK Lodge. We will have one reservation number. Are we able to have separate My Disney Experience accounts with that SAME reservation number?

Jambo, Justine! I'm so glad you found Zazu and followed him back to us here at Pride Rock - I mean, planDisney. As my friend Mufasa says, "Everything the light touches... is our kingdom."

I can't tell you how excited I am to hear that you have an upcoming stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge! I was able to vacation here with a group of friends last December and, let me just say, it was nothing short of magical. Be sure to take time and discover the animals wandering along the savanna, then grab some Zebra Domes from The Mara - trust me!

Justine, I'm happy to let you know that every person in your travel party can make their own separate My Disney Experience accounts, even when you're sharing a hotel reservation! Let's just take a few extra steps to make sure that everyone is connected correctly and will be able to manage their own plans.

First, you'll want to make sure your entire travel party is listed under your resort reservation. Have the person who created the reservation log into their account online. Hover your mouse over the My Disney Experience tab, then click My Plans. Scroll down until you see "My Planning Party" and make sure everyone in your travel party is listed.

Next, you'll want to check that everyone can manage their own plans. While still logged into your account, hover over the My Disney Experience tab and click My Family and Friends. Take a look at everyone in your travel party. If it says "Plans managed by me" next to any of your names, you'll want to make sure those plans get shared. But Hakuna Matata! No worries! These plans can easily be shared. Click "Update" next to the name and then "Share Planning." You'll then enter an email address for the person you want to share those plans with, and they'll accept that invitation on their end.

However, if you already have a My Disney Experience account, you can easily add your resort reservation to your plans! Log into your account, hover your mouse over My Disney Experience, and click My Plans. Scroll down until you see the Resort Hotel icon. Hover over this icon and click Link a Reservation. From there, just add the confirmation number and last name on the reservation. Ta-da! You are one step closer to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Once everyone has linked their hotel reservation to their account, I'd encourage you to download and explore the My Disney Experience app. This app is a little like holding a magic wand in your hand! While on vacation, you'll be able to view your plans, check wait times for attractions, and even mobile order food. What could be more magical than that?

Justine, I hope I was able to help you and your family link your Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge reservation to your My Disney Experience app. If you have any other questions, be sure to visit us again! After all, you've got a friend in me.

    See ya real soon!
