My parents have a second home in Florida and was wondering if they would be qualified for the Florida resident ticket discount?

Hi Steph and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your planning question about the Walt Disney World Resort.

Take a look at the list of documents the resort will accept for Proof of Florida Residency. As long as your parents have one of the items included in the link above, they will be good to go to purchase theme park tickets for Florida Residents.

Steph, your parents can even purchase Florida Resident theme park tickets for children in your family under the age of 18. Any other adult that may be visiting with them who does not have proof of residency would not be able to use those specially priced tickets. That is because in order to use those tickets to enter the parks, they need to be activated by showing proof of residency at a theme park ticket window or at the Disney Springs Guest Services location.

I hope this information is helpful to you. Please feel free to come back to see us when you all get ready to plan your next visit. It’s always our pleasure to help you with all the details of your next magical family vacation!
