My parents are FL residents with WDW AP, my children and I are going to visit them. With my parents arriving 1 day later than us, are they able to link their tickets to their MDE acct or do the kids have to wait for them to get into the parks?

    Hi there, Andrea!

Your magical vacation is coming up soon and I’m so glad you stopped by planDisney with your question! There is nothing better than visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth with family! Your parents sound like wonderful grandparents and I’m sure you and your Mouseketeers agree!

Andrea, in order to activate your Mouseketeers’ Florida resident Theme Park Tickets, your parents would have to be there to show proof of Florida Residency. Once the tickets have been activated, your parents would not have to be there every time your kiddos wanted to enter after that. For instance, if your family will be going for 3 days, your parents would only have to be present for the first day to pick up the tickets. The next two days, your family could go on their own.

Although this means your kiddos may have to wait a day to get into the Parks, there is never a reason to be bored at Walt Disney World Resort! My family and I love to spend time by the pool at our Walt Disney World Resort hotel and thanks to the Florida weather, it's usually still warm enough to enjoy the pool! We always make time for Disney Springs; you will find there are more than 100 shops, over 60 dining locations, and many fun events there! I like to get my shopping out of the way early so I can spend the rest of my vacation time playing at the Parks. World of Disney is my favorite store to get my Disney souvenirs and afterwards, I like to treat myself to gorgeous and delicious desserts at Amorette’s Patisserie

I see you’ll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort during the most wonderful time of the yEAR! There will be holiday magic all around you, from festive flotillas at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and character cavalcades at Magic Kingdom Park to stunning Christmas trees at Disney Resort hotels! For all the information on festivities, check out this post by Disney Parks Blog!

Andrea, I hope you have the merriest vacation with your family!
