Hi Kara!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are so blessed to have such wonderful parents! I am sure you love visiting them in sunny Florida, and total bonus that you get to visit the Mouse!
So, here’s the thing with
Florida Resident tickets. If you are a minor child (<18), your parents are more than welcome to buy tickets for you at a discounted rate. If you are older than 18, you will need to have proof of living within your parents’ household or your own home in
Florida to qualify.
If they can purchase the tickets for you, they will need to be present when you pick up the passes so that they can
verify their residency. After that, you are more than welcome to enter the Parks without them. But they may want to join you for a bit of fun! I would suggest the entire family attend an
After Hours event, where you will have exclusive access to iconic rides (with little-to-no wait times), VIP character appearances, and more! (
Annual Passholders receive a significant discount on event tickets).
Kara, if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to come back. ChEARs to a magical vacation!
Rayna
