Hi Lindsey,
The holiday season at Disney World is extra special. The specialty-themed food, holiday decorations, and events are the icing on the cake for a fabulous Disney experience. I love visiting during November because it is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season, and I come home in the mood to decorate the whole house, normally with a few holiday Mickeys!
It sounds like your parents purchased theme park tickets for you and your kid on their MyDisney account. These tickets should be sitting in their MyDisney account and need to be transferred to you. To transfer a Disney World ticket to someone else, you need to log into your
My Disney Experience account, add the recipient to your "Friends and Family," and then navigate to "My Plans, Reservations, and Tickets," where you will select the ticket you want to transfer and choose the "Reassign Ticket" option to assign it to the new person on your list. The ticket must be unused to be transferable to another person. If one day of the ticket has been redeemed, it must stick with the original person who purchased it.
While you are visiting, don't forget to check out some of the fabulous decorations at the Disney Resort hotels! We love hopping on the
monorail at Magic Kingdom and taking a peek at the beautiful decorations located at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, and
Contemporary Resort.
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort even has a gingerbread house so big you can buy gingerbread out of the window!
Happy Planning,
Jenna
