Hi Zach,
As someone who has worked remotely quite a bit on vacations, I feel your dad's pain. Luckily for you all, there are some great options for a quiet and fully equipped place to work while at Disney World.
My favorite location to work while on a Disney World vacation is one of the
Business Centers conveniently situated inside a Disney resort hotel. I prefer the one located in
Disney's Contemporary Resort because it is quiet, there is access to a computer workspace if needed, and there are several options for a quick snack or coffee to keep him focused on getting his work done. Since there is a convention center at this resort, there are also several places outside the convention area where you can tuck away and work with great internet access.
The beauty of this location is that as soon as he finishes work, he can hop on the monorail and meet you all at EPCOT for the evening. Keep in mind, that you will not be allowed to park at a Disney resort hotel without a hotel or dining reservation. The best option is to go ahead and park at the theme park you will be visiting for the day and have your dad take the
complimentary transportation back to the resort hotel he chooses to work from. At Animal Kingdom, this will be a bus; at EPCOT, it will be either the monorail, Disney Skyliner, or bus.
Happy Planning,
Jenna
