Hello there, Yvette!
Welcome to planDisney and we appreciate you coming by with your question! As a fellow parent myself, I can appreciate your inquiry about
Theme Park Ticket prices.
Yvette, when you purchase a Disneyland Resort Theme Park Ticket, you are purchasing a full day admission to the Parks themselves, with use of all rides, shows, experiences, and attractions within. There is no lower ticket tier available for guests who choose not to ride any attractions, but I would urge you to look beyond just the rides and truly experience what many consider to be more than just a Theme Park. In fact, Walt Disney conceived the
idea of Disneyland Park when he was watching his daughters ride the Griffith Park Carousel and felt that "...there should be something built where the parents and the children could have fun together." The Parks have evolved into so much more than that today and there's something for everyone!
If you are a foodie, perhaps check out
Disney Eats to see what they might have available to you during your visit. Are you a Marvel or musical fan?
"Rogers: The Musical" will have just debuted at the Hyperion Theater in Disney California Adventure. Also, take advantage of
Disney PhotoPass to grab some wonderful memories of you and your family together at the Happiest Place on Earth!
Fun Fact: when Disneyland Park first opened,
Ticket Books were sold which limited the number of times you could experience an attraction. These Ticket Books are now considered collector's items! Nevertheless, I'm glad I can now ride
Pirates of the Caribbean as many times as I want!
Yvette, I hope that answer was helpful for you and I hope that you have a wonderful and magical visit to the Disneyland Resort! If you have any further questions for us at planDisney, please feel free to reach out to us again anytime!
Have a Magical Day!
