Do parents need to purchase a ticket also to accompany their child to the royal court royal tea and also, how much does it normally cost? We are still waiting until 75 days prior to sail to find out but rather know a range of $$ to save up for it!

Welcome back, Kimberly! The Royal Court Royal Tea is a really magical event for young cruisers and their parents to attend together. Little princesses especially love this tea party where they are treated like royalty from the moment they enter the restaurant and their name is announced to the guests!

I'm glad you're asking about the cost of it now, so you can decide if it is something to put on your "must do" list, so you're all ready to book these fun extras when your online check-in begins, 75 days prior to sailing, as a first time guest. Currently, the cost for a child is $210, and the accompanying adult cost is $69. Not only will your little ones get to spend some time with some of their favorite Disney princesses, but the Royal Pastry Chef and Royal Tea Hostess will tell enchanted stories and tales as old as time, sing songs with the young guests and even get everyone up to dance! The party includes a lovely little tea service with teas, juices, and tea party food. The children leave with the most wonderful party gifts: Girls get a Cinderella doll (about 18 inches), a necklace, bracelet, jewelry box, autograph book and pen, and a tiara fit for a princess! Boys receive a Duffy the Disney Bear (still one of my son's favorite stuffed friends!), sword and shield, pins, autograph book and pen, and a Royal Court cinch sack bag.

If that sounds like a party fit for your royal family, be sure to log into your online check-in as soon as you're able at 75 days prior to sailing, and book your tickets! My daughter and I think it's a lovely Mother-Daughter outing, if you don't want the whole family to attend, because I know it is pricey. But, the memories you'll make will last a lifetime! Happy planning, Kimberly! Let us know if you have any other Disney Cruise Line questions before you head out to sea!
