If parents' magic keys expire Nov and their child turned 3 more than 60 days ago, what do you suggest they do for the child's ticket if they don't plan on renewing. If they do renew, they don't want to be on a different schedule from child

Hi there Jonathan, welcome to planDisney!

I definitely suggest squeezing every last drop of magic from their Disneyland Resort Magic Key Passes!  I would also advise them to double check when their renewal window will open and close so they do not miss the opportunity to renew their Magic Key Pass if they decide to do so.

My first recommendation is to check the special offers & discounts page, and make sure they're signed into their MyDisney Account.  They will then be able to see any offers or promotions that apply to them, and depending on when they're looking to visit, they are going to want to explore the 3-Day Disneyland Ticket offer.  It's an amazing deal on theme park tickets, and is valid until September 26, 2024, subject to theme park reservation availability.  If they do purchase this wonderful ticket offer, they'll need to make a corresponding theme park reservation for each day they'd like to visit the theme parks.

I completely understand wanting to be on the same schedule as their little Mouseketeer, so regular theme park tickets for the child would be my recommendation until they decide to renew their Magic Key Passes, or let them expire.

Once they have your trip dates locked in, I recommend exploring the Disney Parks Blog before their visit!  Whether they visit before Pixar Fest ends in early August, or visit during Halloween Time for some spooktacular fun, the Disney Parks Blog is such a great resource to help plan their trip!

I hope this information helps answer your question, Jonathan!  Please don't hesitate to come back to planDisney if we can help with anything else!

    Have a magical day,
    Melissa
