My parents will be joining us during our WDW trip. We plan to rent an ECV for my dad but are concerned about where the ECV is dropped off. We will be spending 1 day at MK and 1 day at Epcot. What  do you recommend, and where do we pick up the ECV?

    Hi, Stephanie!

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your question. How wonderful that your parents will be joining you on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort! I love multigenerational family trips -- you are going to have a great time together! My father accompanied us on one of our past visits and he needed to use an ECV due to the inability to walk long distances. If your father does not normally use an ECV at home or has never used one, I would suggest that he take some time to practice backing up and turning while piloting his rental ECV. He will likely need to do this maneuver when exiting the monorail and even the busses.

ECVs are available for rent at the entrance to each of the four parks and are also available at Downtown Disney. When exiting the park, you would simply return the ECV to the same location.

Here is a link to more information on ECV Rentals. Please write back if I can answer any additional questions.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
