    Hello, my parents are Florida residents and we are not. We have 2 children who will need to be purchasing tickets for parks. Can my parents purchase the childrens tickets with florida resident fees? Do they need to be with them everyday or just the first ?

    Hi Lauren and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! There’s so much to explore during your next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks for stopping by with your question about theme park tickets.

    Your parents can absolutely purchase Florida Resident theme park tickets for their grandchildren, as long as those grandchildren are under the age of 18. They can show Proof of Florida Residency with the kids in tow, at any theme park ticket office or the Disney Springs Guest Services location to activate their tickets. 

    Lauren, if your parents purchase a ticket with multiple theme park days for the kids, they would only have to be there on the first visit to activate those tickets. Your kids would only have to tap their entry card or MagicBand to a Mickey sensor at the park entrances to use any subsequent days left on their tickets. 

    Right now there are so many exciting new things to explore at Walt Disney World Resort theme parks! From the new Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, to the brand-new firework show at Epcot, there’s always something to keep you on your toes! You can never go wrong exploring Pandora- World of Avatar on the back of a banshee at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park or spend the day enjoying your favorite attractions at the Magic Kingdom Park. There’s always something new to discover!
