Hiya, Kevin, and welcome to planDisney! Your parents are so thoughtful to make such a generous offer to your children. There's nothing like the gift of creating magical memories as a family. And it looks like your
Walt Disney World Resort visit is coming up in just a few weeks. I assume that means school will be out for the summer. Yay! Let's check the
rules on Annual Passes and see what we can do to get those kids to the theme parks.
I spoke to Cast Member on the Annual Passholders line, and she said that the official policy is that Florida residents cannot purchase resident theme park tickets or Annual Passes for non-Florida residents, regardless of their ages. I know that's not the news you hoped to hear, Kevin, but I hope your parents can find another way to treat their grandkids. They could purchase
standard theme park tickets for your upcoming visit or give them
Disney Gift Cards to spend during the trip. Maybe they could even join you! You could all enjoy the Most Magical Place on Earth together. If you still have questions or need clarification, please don't hesitate to
call the Annual Passholders line. I'm sure they'd love to help and might even have some suggestions for you.
June is a great time to visit EPCOT to enjoy the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. The kids will surely enjoy Butterfly Landing and the Family-Friendly Garden Presented by OFF! My family loves taking photos with all the topiaries, and the festival food is always a crowd-pleaser. You're going to have such a great time!
Kevin, I hope I've answered your question, and thanks again for stopping by!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
