Hola, mi amiga Therese! Welcome to planDisney! I’m so glad you stopped by with this wonderful question. It’s so sweet that your parents love
Mariachi Cobre. What a perfect way to spend time in EPCOT during their holiday!
This group has been entertaining Guests at EPCOT since opening day, October 1, 1982. Originally formed in Arizona, Mariachi Cobre became one of the park’s most popular acts. In fact, their co-founder and director,
Esteban Carrillo, was recently honored with the prestigious Walt Disney Legacy Award... such a well-deserved recognition!
I’m happy to share that your parents will be able to enjoy their performances during their visit. While the Walt Disney World website may not always show the full entertainment schedule, I confirmed through the
My Disney Experience app (and double-checked with a friendly Cast Member at EPCOT Guest Relations) that Mariachi Cobre is scheduled to perform Sunday through Thursday at the Mexico Pavilion. They typically appear several times a day between 11:15 AM and 4:30 PM, with breaks between sets. The only days they won’t perform are Fridays and Saturdays.
After taking in a show, I’d recommend your parents enjoy the
Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros. It’s a fun boat ride that pairs perfectly with the festive spirit of the pavilion. And if they’re sampling their way around the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, they shouldn’t miss the Mexico
Global Marketplace booth. I loved both the Tostada and the Flauta!
I hope this helps, Therese, and that your parents have a magical time enjoying the sights, sounds, and flavors of World Showcase!
