My parents are DVC members and I am Associate. If we are all on same res, can my husb and I access benefits (food discounts, lounges) without parents present? It's our anniversary and we're looking forward to some alone time, hopefully to inc TOTW!

Hello, Kirsten! Congratulations on your upcoming anniversary. What a great place to be to celebrate.

Top of the World Lounge, located at the beautiful Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is a very popular spot for an evening cocktail, bite to eat, or even just to go up and watch the fireworks. The lounge is open to Disney Vacation Club members and their guests. To access the lounge, you will need to be accompanied by a member, who must present the blue membership card. The card is presented to the cast member at the desk downstairs, and then you will be escorted up to the lounge. Once you are in the lounge, there is nothing to prevent the DVC member from leaving before you, however, if you need to leave to go back downstairs, you will need the member to get back in.

DVC Associate member can make or change reservations and bank reservation points, however, associate members do not receive a membership card, nor are they entilted to the same benefits of a member owner. The discounts on shipping and food are only available with a DVC membership card.

I hope you all enjoy a wonderful vacation together.
