Welcome to planDisney, Rebecca! It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Disneyland!
As you probably already know,
Paradise Pier Hotel is currently being re-themed and will be called Pixar Place Hotel. While this is certainly exciting news, it does mean, unfortunately, that the hotel's dining locations (including Room Service) will be closed to guests for the next several months. Take a look at the website for
construction updates.
Paradise Pier guests can enjoy dining and recreation at the other Disneyland Resort hotels — Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and the Disneyland Hotel. In fact,
Napa Rose,
Goofy's Kitchen, and
Storyteller's Cafe will offer a special Christmas Day menu, and reservations can be made through the Disneyland website. If you cannot find any availability, keep checking for cancellations and look for walk-up availability in the Disneyland app.
For something more casual, you can
order food to go from select Downtown Disney District restaurants. Hotel guests scan a QR code on the TV in their room to pull up the online menus and pick the food up from their hotel lobby once it arrives! You can also use the mobile ordering feature on the Disneyland app. The best part is that the delivery service is complimentary. Easy peasy!
Rebecca, one Christmas tradition you'll want to put on your must-do list is going over to see the "Grand"
Gingerbread House at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. It's also a great place to enjoy some treats, such as holiday cookies and hot cocoa. Have a magical vacation!
