Greetings, Tiffany!
The magic of Walt Disney World Resort feels even bigger and brighter during the
holiday festivities!
While there aren’t parades specific to the Thanksgiving holiday, you will find
incredible parades at Walt Disney World Resort. If it’s seasonal parades you’re looking for, there is a charming parade during the week of Thanksgiving at the special ticketed event,
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. This event features
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, where you’ll find Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and even Santa Claus in the spirited processional.
Tickets to this event sell out quickly, so if you’re interested in attending this event, I recommend purchasing them soon.
You’ll also find the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays to begin after Thanksgiving, on November 24th. This international yuletide extravaganza is incredible as you taste the seasonal recipes from around the world at special kiosks! Having a sweet tooth, I love the Holiday Cookie Stroll as I enjoy an array of sweet treats while strolling around the World Showcase!
My favorite place to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal all year round is at
Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom Park. It’s a great place to go hungry and leave feeling absolutely and wonderfully satiated. This immersive dining experience serves a traditional family-style Thanksgiving lunch or dinner that is absolutely scrumptious. For dessert, you can try the Ooey Gooey toffee cake with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream, which is mouthwatering! If you’re considering dining here, you will definitely want to make an
advanced dining reservation, as it is highly sought after.
You’ll also find lots of other places for feasts and treats. Although information about featured treats has not yet been released, I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for news and details of holiday treats coming in the next few weeks. You may find the
Foodie Guide to Thanksgiving in 2022 helpful, as it will give you an idea of what has been offered in the past.
No matter how you celebrate your Thanksgiving week at Walt Disney World Resort, I hope it is full of magic and wonder and you make memories to last a lifetime.
Wishing you an enchanting visit, Tiffany!
