Will the parades and fireworks be too overwhelming for my 3 and 5 yo little girls?

    Hi Heather,

My daughters were watching the parades and fireworks at that age. They both loved the parades and even participated in a few parades which was a magical experience.

My oldest daughter loves the beauty of the fireworks but not the noise. We still watch them but we might do it from further away or use ear plugs or headphones to block the noise.

I think one reason the parades and fireworks can by overwhelming is where they are being viewed. Often times guests are advised to watch from Main Street in Magic Kingdom or around the water in EPCOT. These locations can be very crowded. I like to take my family to less crowded locations such as by the Hall of Presidents in Magic Kingdom or on the walkway between Future World and World Showcase.

I would ask a cast member where are good viewing areas which are not as crowded but still provide good viewing.

Finally, you know your daughters and what they like and do not like so go with your instincts.

    Have a magical vacation!
