Hiya Carol,
Thanks for stopping back at planDisney with this great question. I feel the
Electrical Water Pageant is a hidden secret at
Walt Disney World Resort. This fantastic parade is not something most Guests are familiar with and they are definitely missing out.
The parade, featuring whimsical sea creatures that twinkle in time to lively music, is approximately 15 minutes long and takes place at locations along the Seven Seas Lagoon. The parade has even received some 50th anniversary pixie dust and is even more adorable than before. Weather permitting, the parade takes place nightly beginning around 8:30 pm. There are multiple locations where Guests can enjoy the entertainment along the shore of the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels in the
Magic Kingdom area. These locations are Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground and Disney's Contemporary Resort.
The specific time at each location varies as the parade begins at one spot and moves from resort to resort. You will want to check the
My Disney Experience mobile app to confirm the time at each location during your visit. While Guests exiting
Magic Kingdom will be able to catch sightings of the lively parade floats, the actual show is not presented outside Magic Kingdom itself and you would need to visit one of the resort locations if you would like to see the entire show and not just the floats. The great news is you do not need to be a Guest to head over to one of the resort locations and enjoy this parade. From Magic Kingdom, you can simply hop on the best
Resort Transportation option and head to one of the resorts to enjoy the parade, and once it ends simply return to Magic Kingdom. We actually like to walk over to Disney's Contemporary Resort in time to see the sea monster and his pals, and then pop back to Magic Kingdom to finish our evening.
I hope this helps you find the perfect viewing spot for your visit. If I can help with any additional planning information, please stop back and
see me.
T-T-F-N (Ta-Ta for now),
Margaret
