Hello, Amy!
Thank you for getting in touch with planDisney. I am excited that your family gets to experience the
Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort Guided Tour! It is one of my favorite Guided Tours!
I have usually been seated near
"it's a small world" Holiday for this Guided Tour, although parade viewing locations can vary. Your guide will share interesting tidbits about the holidays on this magical Guided Tour and then take your family to the reserved viewing area to watch
A Christmas Fantasy Parade. Indulge in a tasty holiday treat while enjoying this festive parade! It is the most wonderful experience!
I’m sorry you weren’t able to reserve the Guided Tour for your entire family. I suggest keeping an eye on the reservation page, as Guests sometimes cancel closer to their arrival date. I haven’t had much luck with securing "day-of" reservations for Guided Tours, but it’s always worth stopping by to ask. It just depends on availability. If you do decide to cancel your Guided Tour, make sure to check the cancellation policy to avoid any fees.
I highly recommend purchasing
Lightning Lane Multi Pass and using the
mobile ordering feature on the
Disneyland app during this time of year. Disneyland is a popular destination during the
Holidays, and these tools really help you make the most of your visit. Lightning Lane Multi Pass lets you skip the standby lines on many attractions, which is a big time-saver! For mobile ordering, I suggest placing your lunch and dinner orders in the morning to help ensure your preferred pick-up time is available. And if you're looking for a delicious meal,
Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe is my favorite place for lunch on chilly winter afternoons!
Amy, I hope you can find a spot for the remaining member of your family! Wishing you a magical visit to "The Happiest Place on Earth!"
Happy holidays!
Jen
