Hi there, Florabelle!
Welcome to planDisney. I’m so glad you’ll be visiting during the
Holidays at Disneyland Resort. It's my absolute favorite time of year! Make sure to mobile order a Hot Cocoa and Mickey Gingerbread from
Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe before walking through Disneyland Park. It is the perfect combination!
I have good news! Wholly unused theme park tickets don’t have to be used by the Guest whose name is linked to the ticket. When a Guest scans their ticket for the first time, a Cast Member will take their photo, and that photo will be linked to the ticket. Once this happens, the ticket can no longer be used by anyone else. You can also give the "
Tickets" line a call to see if they can change the name on the tickets before they are used, though it’s usually not necessary in my experience. Regardless of who uses the tickets, make sure you also make
theme park reservations!
I recommend looking at the expiration date listed in your
parking voucher confirmation email. Generally, a parking voucher is good for 24 months from the date of purchase. It typically covers Standard Parking for one vehicle at a Disneyland Resort theme park parking lot. Just note, parking vouchers aren't valid for Downtown Disney District parking, hotel parking, or oversized/commercial vehicles. Also, they aren't valid for Preferred Parking. If you’d like to upgrade to Preferred Parking, just ask at any theme park parking toll booth.
During the holidays, I can’t recommend purchasing
Lightning Lane Multi Pass and using the
mobile ordering feature on the
Disneyland app enough! Disneyland is extra popular this time of year, and these services really help you make the most of your visit. With the Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you can skip the standby lines at many attractions, which saves time (and maximizes fun!). For mobile ordering, try placing your lunch and dinner orders early in the day to lock in your preferred pick-up time.
Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe,
Cafe Daisy, and
Flo's V8 Cafe are some of my favorite Quick Service Restaurants that typically accept mobile orders.
Florabelle, I hope your visit to Disneyland is filled with holiday magic and joy! We hope to see you real soon!
Happy holidays!
Jen
